GROTON, CT Marine Science Magnet High School of Southeastern Connecticut has been named one of the best high schools in the United States, according to a new ranking by U.S. News and World Report.
This year s list ranks more than 17,800 public high schools throughout the country.
Among those schools, Marine Science Magnet was ranked No. 310 nationally, and came in 2nd in the state. The school has risen considerably on the list from 2020, when it was ranked No. 532.
