Julian DeAraujo and Matt Doelp have known each other for only about a year, but it is clear the two have already created a strong friendship.
Matt and Julian, like many good friends, share the same interests. They both like to go on hikes, play videogames, watch YouTube videos and simply hang out together.
Julian, an 11-year-old who frequently attends the Boys & Girls Club of Cape Cod in Mashpee, had nothing but positive things to say about his new friend Matt, a 28-year-old who joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod and the Islands as a mentor.
âAt first, it was a little awkward, but then when we started to meet each other I was like, âThis dudeâs awesome,ââ Julian said with a smile on his face. âWe got along really quickly, and it was fun to talk about his interests and my interests.â

Chennai: The presence of microplastics in the guts of fishes in coastal areas of Chennai has once again become a cause of concern. The city-based research centre, the National Centre for Coastal Research (NCCR) found microplastics in seven popular fish varieties.
According to the researchers, 80 per cent of samples of seven popular fish sold near Marina may contain tiny specks of plastic. Fish sold at Pattinapakkam were detected with microplastics in the gills. The gut of Indian Mackerel, Greater Lizardfish, Humphead Snapper, Barracuda and Golden Snapper were between 1.93 mm and 2.03 mm in the form of fibres.
Sea Level Rise Causes Increase in Nuisance Flooding on U.S. Coasts

In recent decades, there has been an increase in nuisance flooding on U.S. coasts caused by sea level rise. A new study co-authored by the University of Central Florida has now revealed an additional reason for its increased frequency.

The study, published recently in the
Science Advances journal, shows that higher local tide ranges, most probably due to human-induced modifications to estuaries and coastal areas, have led to an increase in the number of nuisance flooding days in several coastal locations in the United States.
