Today, the eclectic and prolific artist Chase Cohl has announced the March 19th release of the first installment of her Dear Dear EP. Marking the occasion, Cohl has made the track and Gemma Warren video for lead single Take It Like A Man available HERE. Like letters committed to well-worn paper in elegant cursive by hand, the music of Chase Cohl channels a bygone charm and delicate magic. Both the retro-fetishist video and all four-songs on the EP pay homage to 60s girl group legends such as The Ronettes, The Shirelles, Darlene Love and The Crystals. The track and video come a week after the debut of BESA, Cohl s latest fashion endeavor small collection of high-end cashmere headscarves produced in small, ethically-made quantities. The first run sold out in less than 24 hours, and the second batch is available for pre-order HERE. Pre-save Dear Dear: Volume I HERE.

Speaking about ‘Alien Crime Lord’, the Voidz said in a statement that they “wanted to make a song that sounded like Jean Claude Van Damme standing up on a speeding motorcycle while firing perfect bullets through the windshield of an oncoming nemesis, then finishing the job with a controlled flip over the top of the vehicle that ends in a maelstrom of denim and flames”.
