Film guru Ronan O Meara has been scouring the TV schedules to find movies to watch as we begin the month of May.

Jay finds herself being followed by something odd after she spends the night with her boyfriend. To say anymore would ruin an unsettling and original horror film that takes a ridiculous premise and turns it into a suspense packed story that s darkly funny and flat out terrifying in places. Director David Robert Mitchell is obviously a John Carpenter fan too but that s no bad thing. Maika Monroe as Jay is a mighty lead.

I don’t see a lot of new babies being named Robert these days. I used to have such a popular name. What happened?
The Social Security Administration is out with the list of the most popular baby names for 2020, and it’s pretty much the same list it was last time. The top male name is Liam and the top female name is Olivia. Other names in the top ten include Noah, Oliver, James, Emma, Ava, and Mia.
At that link you can see how the most popular names have changed over the years and even check lists by decade and by state. It’s interesting to see how names that were popular in the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s names like David and Steven and Mary and Patricia barely register in an era of Elijahs and Harpers. William and Elizabeth are still pretty popular though.

Licence To Kill actor Frank McRae has died at the age of 80 after suffering a heart attack.
The American actor, who also starred in Last Action Hero, died in California on April 29, his devastated daughter-in-law has confirmed.
James Bond star Frank McRae has died at the age of 80.
The actor passed away from a heart attack in Santa Monica on April 29, his daughter-in-law confirmed to Variety.
Screen star Frank was best known for his role as the famous spy s friend Sharkey in 1989 s Licence to Kill and previously played defensive tackle for the Chicago Bears and the Los Angeles Rams in the 60s.
