Telangana to deploy fresh graduates to ease COVID-19 strain on healthcare sector
CM reviewed COVID-19 situation on Sunday, and took several decisions aimed at tackling the challenges posed by the pandemic

Hyderabad: With Telangana’s healthcare sector grappling with the mounting pressure of COVID-19 pandemic, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to temporarily draw upon fresh medical and paramedical graduates across the state.
According to a statement by the state government, as part of the exercise, the CM has decided to invite applications from around 50,000 medical students, who have completed their MBBS course and are qualified.

Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to temporarily draw upon fresh medical and paramedical graduates across the state. According to a statement by the state government, as part of the exercise, the CM has decided to invite applications from around 50,000 medical students, who have completed their MBBS course and are qualified. The medical and health officials have been asked to appoint doctors, nurses, lab technicians, pharmacists and other paramedical staff for a period of two to three months and utilise their services for the treatment of coronavirus.

Hyderabad: To reduce the burden on medical and health department staff, who are working as the frontline warriors in the midst of the second wave of COVID-19 surge in the state, the Telangana government is inviting applications from the 50,000-odd medical students who have completed the MBBS and are qualified.
Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao held a high-level review meeting on Sunday at Pragathi Bhavan on the prevailing Covid situation in the state.
The chief minister, who holds the Health portfolio, has also instructed the medical and health officers to appoint for the period of two to three months, doctors, nurses, lab technicians, pharmacists and other para-medical staff immediately and utilise their services in Covid19 treatment.
