PLAN: Cafe Rouge in Friar Street in Worcester NEW apartments are set to be built above a former city centre restaurant. The plans would see the upper floors above the former Cafe Rouge restaurant in Friar Street in Worcester, which closed last year, converted into three flats and a six-room house of multiple occupation (HMO). The ground floor and part of the first floor space in the grade II-listed building would remain for commercial use and could be replaced with a new shop, restaurant or cafe. The studio flats would measure between 30 and 33 square metres each with the two HMOs each measuring 74 and 78 square metres.
