Outlook Live: Energy transition requires investors to reassess risks New energy transition technologies have brought with them a different set of risk factors for investors to understand Investors need to find new ways to assess risk within the energy transition space as the high-speed development of new technologies is bringing new challenges, a panel of experts told the PE Outlook Live webinar in partnership with advisory White & Case. The skillsets required include “how to parse out the risk components that are related to specific parts of the energy transition, and then learn how to underwrite those aspects of unique risk”, said Nicole Geneau, senior vice president of development at AlphaStruxure, a company developing microgrid solutions. “New risk is difficult for capital providers to get their heads around.”
