Police are preparing for the biggest bikie procession the state has seen in recent times, with hundreds of mourners set to hit the road on Wednesday to farewell slain Rebels boss Nick Martin.
The public has been urged to stay clear of major roads in the northern suburbs, where hundreds of police will escort mourners to Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park, where Mr Martin will be laid to rest.
Police are gearing up for a massive bikie gathering in Western Australia with hundreds of outlaw gang members set to ride into town for the funeral of a former Rebels boss.
Nick Martin was shot in the back while attending the Outlaw Nitro Challenge drag racing event at the Perth Motorplex, Kwinana Beach, on December 12.
The underworld figure is believed to have been killed by a sniper in a highly-orchestrated assassination carried out in front of horrified families and children, including his own wife and step-daughter.
Now hundreds of patched members from various bikie gangs are expected to converge for his funeral on Wednesday.
