She’s releasing her debut LP, Maquishti, via Valley of Search, a label best known for issuing the work of saxophonist Alan Braufman. Brennan recorded Maquishti with vibraphone and marimba, making use of unconventional performance techniques and guitar pedals to shape her sound. “This album reflects my vision for the vibraphone and the potential of all the possible ways it can be played,” she has said.
