Trump told supporters at the Save America March Wednesday, We will never concede. He then sent them marching off toward the U.S. Capitol.
For many months, this newspaper has warned that Trump had set himself up as the leader of a mass fascist movement and that he would stop at nothing to maintain his grip on power. The insurrectionary coup that unfolded in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday provided the ultimate, undeniable truth of that warning, broadcast live to the televisions and smartphones of the whole world.

A writer for the daytime TV show Doctors has released his long-awaited debut novel - receiving great acclaim from TV stars in the process.
David Lloyd, from Backwell, finished his first book A Most Unwelcome Connection after the BBC suspended work on the TV drama, Doctors due to the pandemic.
He said: It had been slow going - my regular work for Doctors had meant that my novel had taken longer than I had hoped to complete.

Rules assisting working-class women were also set aside. Trump rescinded the “2014 Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces order President Barack Obama had put in place to ensure that companies with federal contracts comply with 14 labor and civil rights laws.”
The rule covered two issues affecting women workers: paycheck transparency and forced arbitration clauses for sexual harassment, sexual assault, or discrimination claims.
The paycheck transparency rule addressed the problem that out of the 50 worst wage-theft violators that the Government Accountability Office examined between 2005-2009, 60% had been awarded federal contracts even after being penalized by the Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division. The rule barred the granting of federal contracts to companies involved in wage theft.
