The ninth season of truTV’s hit prank show ‘Impractical Jokers’ is almost upon us. The fan-favorite series featuring comedy troupe The Tenderloins will return with a fresh burst of laughter and surprises on February 4. According to the latest announcement about the new season, we can expect more fun-filled and hilariously crazy episodes from the four friends.
Before we grab our popcorn bowls and gear up for another season of laughter riot, let’s have a look at the famous four behind the show. The four members of the cast Joe Gatto, James ‘Murr’ Murray, Brian ‘Q’ Quinn, and Sal Vulcano are also the show’s creators and executive producers.
In an upcoming scene from “Impractical Jokers,” each of the hidden camera show’s four stars pretends to be a photographer taking pictures of aspiring models.
Per the show’s rules which comes with a viewer warning about ensuing “graphic stupidity” they must do and say whatever their costars order them to do: It can be something goofy, like Joe Gatto declaring, “my glasses are fake they’re for the look but the hat’s prescription”; embarrassing, like Brian Quinn saying he was infamous in Hollywood, but “you’re here, which means you haven’t Googled me,” or Sal Vulcano describing himself as “fat and jazzy”; or downright absurd, like James Murray hiding in bushes to capture candid shots of his model.

“Impractical Jokers” stars Joe Gatto, James “Murr” Murray, Brian “Q” Quinn and Sal Vulcano, otherwise known as comedy troupe The Tenderloins, have inked a first-look deal with WarnerMedia to develop and produce scripted and unscripted originals for TNT, TBS, truTV and HBO Max.
“From the very first dinner I had with Joe, James, Brian and Sal, I knew I loved spending time with them, and that our audiences would as well,” said TBS, TNT and truTV general manager Brett Weitz. “And here we are, greenlighting a tenth season. We’re proud to be the home, where the guys can continue to flex their creative muscles, continue to evolve their comedy and build new IP that we can introduce into the larger WarnerMedia family.”

Impractical Jokers. The show stars Gatto along with costars, Sal Vulcano, James Murray, and Brian Quinn. Four comedians and lifelong friends compete to embarrass each other out amongst the general public with a series of hilarious and outrageous dares. When Sal, Joe, Q, and Murr challenge each other to say or do something, they have to do it. And if they refuse, they lose. At the end of every episode, the biggest loser must endure a punishment of epic proportions.
