Cincinnati Weather update: Flood warning in effect for Ohio River through Saturday Quinlan Bentley, Sarah Brookbank, Jeanne Houck and Briana Rice, Cincinnati Enquirer The Ohio River is inching closer to moderate flood stage after heavy rains earlier this week.   A flood warning is currently in effect for the Ohio River at Cincinnati until late Saturday evening, according to the National Weather Service. Identity revealed of Columbus man killed in Jan 3 traffic crash

Nearly a month after his death, a pedestrian who was hit and killed by a car while crossing Interstate 71 has been identified by Columbus police.  Around 11:20 p.m. on Jan. 3, police were called to I-71 near Frank Road on the city s South Side after a passerby reported a body in the roadway. Columbus police Accident Investigation Unit determined the victim was a male pedestrian struck while crossing the interstate. On Monday, police identified him as 42-year-old Travis Harper of Columbus following an autopsy by the Franklin County Coroner s office Police say Harper was attempting to cross the interstate s southbound lane, just south of Ohio Route 104, when a vehicle driven by 46-year-old James Puckett, 46, of Orient, Pickaway County, hit him.
