Nearly a month after his death, a pedestrian who was hit and killed by a car while crossing Interstate 71 has been identified by Columbus police.
Around 11:20 p.m. on Jan. 3, police were called to I-71 near Frank Road on the city s South Side after a passerby reported a body in the roadway. Columbus police Accident Investigation Unit determined the victim was a male pedestrian struck while crossing the interstate.
On Monday, police identified him as 42-year-old Travis Harper of Columbus following an autopsy by the Franklin County Coroner s office
Police say Harper was attempting to cross the interstate s southbound lane, just south of Ohio Route 104, when a vehicle driven by 46-year-old James Puckett, 46, of Orient, Pickaway County, hit him.

In collaboration with New Fortress Energy (“NFE”) and GE, Long Ridge intends to begin providing carbon-free power to customers as early as next year by blending hydrogen in the gas stream and transition the plant to be capable of burning 100% green hydrogen over the next decade.
With commercial operations planned for November 2021, Long Ridge will be the first purpose-built hydrogen-burning power plant in the United States and the first worldwide to blend hydrogen in a GE H-class gas turbine. The plant utilizes a GE 7HA.02 combustion turbine, which can burn between 15-20% hydrogen by volume in
