It was announced last month that Amtrak is looking to expand its passenger rail services in Ohio and has proposed plans to connect the state s major cities.According to All Aboard Ohio, Amtrak representatives have been meeting with Ohio city leaders to discuss the expansion. BRECKSVILLE, Ohio City Council voted unanimously Feb. 2 to place a rezoning for The Sherwin-Williams Co. which plans to build a research-and-development center in the proposed Valor Acres mixed-use development at Brecksville and Miller roads on the May 4 ballot.
Part of the Sherwin-Williams site is zoned residential. The company needs voters to change the property into a district that allows offices and research laboratories.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio City Council plans to devote its Monday (Feb. 8) meeting to hearing both development proposals for the Cedar-Lee-Meadowbrook site.

NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio City Council earlier this week approved the creation of a small business relief program, which will disperse $50,000 to local business owners struggling to stay open during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“If this is something that can help our small businesses get through this time, it’s good for our residents and our city,” City Council President Nicole Dailey Jones said.
