The new appointments are Kim Belcastro, community leader; Carly Cox, of JJR Solutions; and Cameron McGregor of Ms. Medicine, Cincinnati. “Gala of Hope is blessed to build on visionary leadership and counsel,” shared Jeff Brock, Executive Director. “These four join a board deeply passionate to diminish cancer and its effects on our region and ultimately send it into the sunset. Their guidance and experience will help Gala push back against cancer even more in our region.”

Monday the chamber announced its new head, Kelsy Eaton, an internal hire promoted from events management for the chamber. “I’m proud to say that I was the one that found her and she’s a creative individual,” said former President and CEO of the chamber Carrie Ankrom. “I saw the spark in her eyes the first day that I interviewed her.” Eaton’s predecessor was let go in August with a nationwide search for a replacement announced by the chamber in September.

Officers elected to NFIB Leadership Council for Ohio

Officers elected to NFIB Leadership Council for Ohio The officers include: • Albert Macre, of Albert F. Macre & Co. (Steubenville), vice chair; • Kelly Moore, of GKM Auto Parts (Zanesville), chair of the NFIB Ohio PAC, the organization’s political action committee, and; • Ty Baker-Baumann, of REBSCO, Inc. (Greenville), the immediate past chair of the council. Currently, the Ohio Leadership Council is comprised of 38 independent business owners from across Ohio who meet quarterly to guide the organization’s statewide activities. The role of the council is to offer input to the organization’s advocacy program while assisting in efforts to bring small-business issues to the attention of state and federal elected officials.
