(OLNEY) The Olney City Council met last night in regular session. OLNEY â An accident at 7:49 p.m. Saturday claimed the lives of DeAnn Richardson, 48, and Judy L. Jourdan, 69, both of Olney, reports Illinois State Police District 12.
According to the accident report, Michael W. Mattox, 60 of Dundas, was westbound on West North Avenue approaching South West Street driving a black 2020 Chevrolet Silverado when he proceeded through the intersection, ran off the roadway on the northwest corner and struck the outdoor patio portion of the Deuceâs Wild Saloon, striking Richardson and Jourdan where they were standing.
Richardson and Jourdan were pronounced dead at the scene by the Richland County Coronerâs Office.
