MARIGOT: - Well-known local doctor Dr. Michel Petit who is also a well-established businessman has joined the ranks of politics for the love of his country and island. The announcement was made on Thursday in a press release where a number of hardcore politicians came together and join forces in order the save St. Martin from its current trend.
Two former presidents of the Collectivity of St. Martin are also on the new political party, that was made known today Thursday, July 16th, 2021.

SPRINGFIELD In a first for the Illinois Principals Association, they are hosting their Annual Education Leaders Conference virtually. The 49th annual Education Leaders Conference and Exhibition, “L.E.A.D.” Conference (Learning – Equity – Advocacy – Diversity) will take place online Feb. 22-23. The annual conference provides an opportunity for principals and other administrators to learn from leaders in the education field and participate in sessions to better serve their schools.

Thornton Lewis Lynam Jr., 88, of Rehoboth Beach, passed away peacefully Friday, Jan. 15, 2021, at Brandywine Senior Living at Seaside Pointe, Rehoboth Beach.
Thorny was born Sept. 4, 1932, in Dartmouth, Mass., and spent his summers at the family’s vacation home in Rehoboth Beach. He graduated from Dartmouth High School in 1950, and following his father’s footsteps, pursued his higher education as a chemistry major, but soon discovered his passion to become an educator. He attained his bachelor’s degree from Ohio Wesleyan in 1955, where he pledged the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. After graduation, he joined the Army and served the next two years in Army Intelligence. Following his time in the military he began his teaching career in Glen Burnie, Md.
