Tourism potential in Dhofar, Oman August 23, 2009 SALALAH Dr Rajha bint Abdulameer bin Ali, minister of tourism, met businessmen, businesswomen and investors in the tourism sector in Dhofar Governorate at the Salalah branch of Oman Chamber of Com Khalil bin Abdullah Al Khonji, chairman of OCCI, was also present at the meeting. During the meeting, Dr Rajha underlined the importance of direct meetings as they contributed to the growth of the tourism sector to serve the development of tourism in the future. She also highlighted the leading role played by the private sector in Dhofar and the Sultanate, being a strategic partner of the government in promoting tourism.
