Makinde will compensate you for lands taken- Monarch assures Agia community

The Alajia of Ajia in Ona Ara local government area of Ibadan, Oba Yusuf Nurain Adebona has said that Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has no plans to acquire some parcels of land in the town without compensating rightful owners of the property.
Oba Adebona made this disclosure on Monday while addressing a press conference organized by Inukan Development Forum led by Sunday Gbenjo at Ajia town.
Our correspondent gathered that some residents of the town recently staged a protest over the alleged acquisition of some parcels of land for the construction of public facilities by the Oyo State government.

Folarin stated this shortly after he revalidated his membership of the party at Idi Ose, Ona Ara LGA of Oyo State.
“The revalidation exercise has turned out to be the tonic, the boost needed by our party to get stronger, greater, bigger and I am glad about this.
“In Oyo State, APC is obviously the leading party. It is the party to beat. We lost the last gubernatorial election in the state because of the fragmentation in our party. And now with the large number of people enthusiastically joining our party, it is obvious even to the blind that APC is the party to belong to for victory,” he said.
