Minor Hotels names GM for flagship Bangkok properties
BANGKOK, March 3, 2021 Thailand-based hospitality group Minor International has appointed experienced hotelier, Mark O’Sullivan as its new area general manager for Bangkok. In this role, he will be responsible for its numerous flagship properties including Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel, Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort and Avani+ Riverside Bangkok Hotel. Since arriving in Bangkok in 2018 as General Manager of Anantara Riverside, O’Sullivan has been the driving force behind the positioning of the riverside as a popular entertainment and dining destination. During that time, he had successfully introduced SEEN Restaurant & Bar Bangkok, a prime rooftop nightlife venue as well as overseeing the concept, creation and launch of the hugely successful late-night hotspot, Lost & Found. He also oversaw the openings of restaurants, Spice & Barley and Benihana.

Former Air Force Base– Established as Brooks Field, in December of 1917, an Army Air Corps installation, it is one of the oldest facilities in the U.S. Air Force. In 1947, the name changed to Brooks Air Force Base and in 2002, it was renamed Brooks City Base. The Air Force Base closed on September 30, 2011, and in 2017, Brooks City Base was renamed Brooks.
