Texas Tech baseball has been well represented in the MLB draft over the past decade with dozens of players being selected by Major League organizations out of Texas Tech in the Tim Tadlock era at Texas Tech and before.
With a couple of Red Raiders turning heads in the Minor Leagues though, the steam to pick a Texas Tech prospect could actually ratchet up a bit. Caleb Killian is lighting it up with the Giant s AA team the Richmond Flying Squirrels, Gabe Holt is putting the work in with a Brewers affiliate the Carolina Mudcats, and of course, Josh Jung is currently the Texas Rangers number one prospect.
