The Tennessee Titans went with experience with their gameday additions to the active roster for Sunday’s wild card playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Outside linebacker Brooks Reed and offensive lineman Daniel Munyer will be elevated and available to be among the 48 players in uniform for the Titans’ first home playoff game since 2008.
Reed is a 10th-year veteran who appeared in the Titans’ final two regular-season games. His career includes nine playoff appearances, including three with Atlanta in 2016, when the Falcons played in the Super Bowl. He has been a part of four playoff teams (Houston twice, Atlanta twice), and all four won at least one game.
Also on Saturday, the Titans activated kicker Sam Sloman and outside linebacker Brooks Reed from the practice squad for Sunday’s game. Both players will revert to the practice squad on Monday.
2021/01/03 04:38 NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) The Tennessee Titans are getting at least one of their kickers back for the regular season finale at Houston. The Titans (10-5) activated three-time Pro Bowl punter Brett Kern from the Reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday after he was placed on that list Tuesday. Four-time Pro Bowl kicker Stephen Gostkowski has been on the list since Monday. Tennessee can clinch its first AFC South title since 2008 with a win or a Colts’ loss. The Titans promoted kicker Sam Sloman from the practice squad to replace Gostkowski in Houston on Sunday. A seventh-round draft pick by the Rams earlier this year, Sloman played seven games before being released. He was 18 of 21 on extra points and was 8 of 11 on field goals with a long of 42.

NASHVLLE – Derick Roberson was the only member of the Tennessee Titans who did not practice at all this week.
Not coincidentally, the second-year outside linebacker was the only one ruled out on Friday for Sunday’s regular-season finale at Houston.
Roberson, Texas native, continues to battle a hamstring injury that also forced him to miss Sunday’s loss at Green Bay. He also missed time early in the season because of a knee injury that hindered him during training camp and an illness.
He made his 2020 debut in the first meeting with Houston on Oct. 18 and played seven straight games beginning with the Nov. 8 victory over Chicago. Roberson has been credited with six tackles, four quarterback pressures and a forced fumble in eight games played this season.
