A lack of ideological cohesion and a surfeit of overweening ambition has consistently undermined Opposition unity. Banerjeeâs appeal would have had more impact, had she thought of it before the West Bengal assembly elections, instead of adopting an âekla chalo reâ or go-it-alone stance.
The need for a strong and cohesive Opposition at the national level is now being voiced even by the aam aadmi, as fears of a BJP hegemony grow. Judging by the tepid response to West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjeeâs plea for a united front against the ruling party, it remains a pipe dream.
Odisha: India s First Fully Operational Plastic Park To Be Set Up In Paradip
MOU Virtual Meet
Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO) on Tuesday (9 March) signed an agreement and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to develop Paradeep Plastic Park.
It will be the first fully operational plastic park in India.
The MOU was signed virtual in presence of in the presence of Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik and officials from Paradeep refinery among others, the press release by Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas stated.

India Today Group-Karvy Insights Mood of the Nation (MOTN) poll revealed that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been rated the best performing Chief Minister for the fourth consecutive year.
CM Adityanath secured 25 per cent of the total votes to occupy the first position.
CM Adityanath, who is one of the youngest CMs in India, drew sharp criticism for his handling of Hathras gangrape case and the recent ‘love jihad law’.
However, this has not affected his popularity among people. Adityanath’s approval rating has, in fact, increased by one from the August edition of the MOTN survey.
