SIT Has Sufficient Evidence Against Accused In Nayagarh Minor Girl Murder Case: Arun Bothra 23 Nayagarh: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Odisha Crime Branch on Monday said it has sufficient evidence against the accused arrested in connection with the murder case of a five-year-old girl of Jadupur village. SIT Chief Arun Bothra said the accused have been interrogated repeatedly over the last ten days. He was arrested after gathering sufficient evidence. “The arrested youth is the prime accused. An investigation is underway to find if there is involvement of more persons in the case. The details of the case will be shared in a press conference after producing the accused in the court today, ” the SIT Chief added.

Aditya Dash’s wife Bidyashree attempts suicide, hospitalised  PNN Family members of Bidyashree have admitted her to a leading government hospital in Cuttack in critical condition. According to her family members, she consumed about 41 sleeping tablets. After consuming the sleeping pills she went live on Facebook and said that she was suffering from depression as she has been blamed for her husband’s death. Notably, social activist and motivational speaker Aditya Dash’s mulitilated body was recovered by the GRP police on a railway track near Lingaraj Temple Road railway station in Bhubaneswar July 7. Later, GRP police investigation found the suicide note which was seized from Aditya’s house and confirmed that it was written by him.

Image Source: IANS News Bhubaneswar, Dec 20 : A person was arrested on Sunday in connection with the murder of a five-year-old girl in Odisha s Nayagarh district, police said. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Odisha Crime Branch said in a press statement that the accused was a resident of Jadupur, the girl s native village. The arrestee will be presented in a POCSO court in Nayagarh on Monday, the statement added. The minor went missing while playing near her house on July 13. Her skeletal remains stuffed in a gunny bag were found at the backside of her house on July 23.
