Commencing the sequence is Race 7 at Keeneland [4:24 p.m.] where a field of ten fillies and mares go 5 ½ furlongs over the turf. Trainer Wesley Ward sends out Hat Creek Racing s Chili Petin, who makes her first start since June 21 when fifth in the Lady Shipman at Belmont Park. Lothenbach Stables Ready for Change will see turf for the first time after two triumphs in off-the-turf events at Fair Grounds for trainer Neil Pessin.

Swiss Skydiver and jockey Robby Albarado win the Beholder in the 2020 3-year-old filly champion s seasonal debut
Shortly after weights were released early Saturday afternoon, trainer Kenny McPeek said champion Swiss Skydiver “absolutely” would return to Oaklawn in Hot Springs, Ark., for a showdown with champion Monomoy Girl in the $1 million Apple Blossom Handicap (G1) for older fillies and mares at 1 1/16 miles April 17.
“We re coming with a beast,” McPeek said.
Post positions for the Apple Blossom and the $1 million Oaklawn Handicap (G1) for older horses April 17 will be drawn Tuesday. Monomoy Girl was assigned top weight of 124 pounds for the Apple Blossom, 2 pounds more than Swiss Skydiver.

Ridden by Gabriel Saez for trainer Bret Calhoun, By My Standards – a 5-year-old by Goldencents – was up just in time to beat Rushie by a nose, covering one mile on a fast main track in 1:37.02 and paying $6.80 as the second choice in the wagering behind the runner-up, who was sent off the 9-5 favorite.
