Indicted QAnon believer pleads not guilty in soldier assault case article
MILWAUKEE - A Waukesha County QAnon believer indicted this week by a federal grand jury of assaulting and attempting to assault uniformed soldiers last month in Pewaukee pleaded not guilty before a federal judge Friday afternoon.
Ian Olson, 31, of Nashotah, appeared by video before Federal Magistrate Judge Stephen Dries for an arraignment and plea hearing in the case. His attorney Thomas Simon entered a not guilty plea on Olson’s behalf. He was indicted on two counts relating to allegedly shooting paintballs at soldiers outside an army facility on March 15.
A man was shot in the head near Elm Avenue off Interstate 94 in Oak Creek on Feb. 20.
The man, who was awake and talking when emergency services and police arrived, was taken to a Froedtert hospital by the Oak Creek Fire Department, according to an Oak Creek Police log entry. Officers determined the victim was shot, possibly grazed, in the back of the head.
Around 2:13 a.m., a woman called police because her boyfriend had been shot while they were on the southbound exit of I-94, near the beginning of the Elm Avenue exit. A dispatcher gave instructions to the woman to help control the bleeding.

OAK CREEK, Colo. Two people are dead including the suspect involved in shootings at two separate homes in Oak Creek on Wednesday, according to the Routt County Sheriff s Office (RCSO).
Just after 3:30 p.m on Feb. 3, an Oak Creek Police (OCPD) officer responded to 218 East Highland St. on a report of shots fired. One man had been struck by a bullet but was not seriously injured, the sheriff s office said.
