Realme launched the 8 5G smartphone yesterday in India. But alongside, the company also announced that the Realme 8 Pro its first (and currently only) 108-megapixel camera smartphone will now be available in the Illuminating Yellow colour option. This new colour option was announced by Realme at the launch event of the Realme 8 series alongside the original two. The specifications of the Realme 8 Pro remain the same.
The new colour variant is available with starting price of Rs 17,999.
Key specs include 6.4-inch AMOLED, Snapdragon 720G SoC, 108MP quad-camera, 5,000mAh battery.

With the new variant, the Realme 8 Pro is now available in India in a total of three colours – Infinite Black, Infinite Blue, and the new Illuminating Yellow. It is worth mentioning that the price of the Illuminating Yellow colour variant of the Realme 8 Pro is same as the that of the two other colours. To recall, the Realme 8 Pro was launched in India last month along with the Realme 8.

The Realme 8 Pro smartphone was unveiled a month ago in two colors - Black or Blue - and the brand promised a third option called Illuminating Yellow to come “soon”. The wait is finally over and the new color is finally hitting India on April 26.
The new color is not just another paint job, it is an entirely new concept with some elements that glow in the dark. That’s right, the rim around the camera island and the “Dare To Leap” logo are coated with a fluorescent material that glows in the dark.

Realme 8 5G has finally launched in India with different specifications from the vanilla 4G version. The device features a 6.5-inch full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, a 48-megapixel triple camera setup and 5G connectivity. Realme 8 5G: Price in India
Realme 8 5G is priced at Rs 14,999 for the 4GB RAM/128GB storage variant and at Rs 16,999 for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant. It will be made available in Supersonic Blue and Supersonic Black colour options starting April 28. The device will be sold in the country via Realme.com, Flipkart, and offline stores.
