Temperature checks and social distancing are out, but masks remain a requirement as the Santa Barbara County Superior Court this past week took a step toward returning to a pre-pandemic normalcy.
The city s Architectural Board of Review is scheduled on Monday to take up the project, slated for 220 N. La Cumbre Road in the outer State Street area
Rocco Constantino has resigned athletic director at SBCC.
Rocco Constantino has stepped down as the athletic director at Santa Barbara City College to take an AD position at a four-year college in his home state of New Jersey, Noozhawk has learned.
“It was a difficult decision to make for sure, but Covid really kind of put things in perspective when it came to my family, Constantino said in an email to Noozhawk. I saw this job posted and decided to give it a shot and was offered the position.
Constantino is headed to Middlesex College after guiding the SBCC Athletic Department since July of 2017.

Santa Barbara resident James Vincent was able to live out his dream one last time as he rode in the sidecar of a motorcycle and raced down the Santa Barbara waterfront on sunny Friday morning, a dream made possible through Oak Cottage Memory Care’s “Living the Dream” program.
