Amanda Seyfried continued her movie awards season success on Monday, picking up her first Oscar nomination before much of the world woke up.
Announced in the early hours of “Good Morning America,” the Oscar nominations included the Allentown native in the “Actress in a Supporting Role” category for her portrayal of early Hollywood starlet Marion Davies in “Mank.” Seyfried’s performance has netted her a number of regional and national nominations in the last few months, including a Golden Globe nomination and a Satellite Awards win.
