Tākaka Primary School principal, Jenny Bennett, and yoga and mindfulness teacher, Emma Callaghan, are running the Treaty Partnership in Action workshop again, after a positive response to the first one.
A popular workshop in Golden Bay aims to “dispel the myths” around Aotearoa’s history and Te Tiriti o Waitangi to give educators and community members a better understanding of New Zealand’s past and present. Golden Bay women, Jenny Bennett and Emma Callaghan, are repeating the workshop, ‘Treaty Partnership in Action’, on March 20 in Tākaka, after it received such a positive response. The first workshop ran on Waitangi Day, and 35 people attended.
