L&T Bags Significant Contract To Design, Build Oil And Gas Supply Base In Saudi Arabia

Indian multinational conglomerate Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has bagged a significant contract to build one of the world s largest oil and gas supply bases in Saudi Arabia.
Though the company has not revealed the exact value of the order, the contract falls under significant category which ranges between Rs 1,000 crore to Rs 2,500 crore. The buildings and factories business of Larsen & Toubro Construction has secured a Significant contract from Oilfields Supply Company Saudi owned by the Dubai based Oilfields Supply Center Ltd. to design and build one of the Worldâs largest Oil & Gas Supply Bases at King Salman Energy Park, Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the company said in a statement on Thursday (22 April).

FAISALABAD: A spokesperson for the health department said 176 more people were tested positive for coronavirus during the last 24 hours.
According to the spokesperson, COVID-19 death toll rose to 741 in the district and coronavirus tests of 5,177 people were conducted in public and private hospitals during the same period. He said so far 10,956
patients had recovered from the disease while total active cases in Faisalabad reached 4,733. He said 305 beds were allocated at the Allied Hospital, 107 at the DHQ hospital and 150 at General Hospital Ghulam Muhammdabad for COVID-19 patients.
At present, 243 patients, including 143 confirmed ones, were under treatment at the Allied Hospital, while 75, including 26 confirmed were admitted to DHQ hospital, and 37, including 21 confirmed were admitted to General Hospital Ghulam Muhammdabad. Some 3,104 COVID-19 patients have quarantined themselves at homes.

The LA Clippers announced on Monday that they have signed free agent point guard Yogi Ferrell to a 10-Day contract.
The news means that the Clippers will not sign Malik Fitts to a second 10-Day contract, though the rookie was able to score his first NBA basket on Sunday night against the Minnesota TImberwolves before his contract expired.
Ferrell is being added to sure up the Clippers’ point guard depth, as starter Patrick Beverley is expected to miss at least three more weeks with a fractured left hand. While Reggie Jackson and Rajon Rondo have done an excellent job picking up the slack, Ferrell can act as insurance in case one of them misses time as well.
