DENVER â U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert is pushing back against a possible court order that would bar her from blocking a constituent on the social media platform Twitter.
Boebert, of the 3rd Congressional District, on Tuesday asked a judge to deny a request for an order that constituent Brianna Buentello asked for in January.
The 3rd Congressional District includes Saguache County.Â
Buentello sought an order, known as an injunction, to ârequire Boebert unblock Buentello on Twitter from the @laurenboebert account and enjoin Boebert from blocking Buentello in the future.â
The Republican congresswoman, through her attorneys, responded Tuesday in a 31-page filing in Denver at the U.S. District Court for Colorado.
