President Biden said on Monday that the United States would “disrupt and prosecute” a criminal gang of hackers called DarkSide, which the F.B.I. formally blamed for a huge ransomware attack that has disrupted the flow of nearly half of the gasoline and jet fuel supplies to the East Coast.
US Cyber Command Gives-Up On Terror Organizations Like Islamic State & Shifts Focus To China

The US Cyber Command will be diverting its counterterror resources used against the Islamic State to the Indo-Pacific region, probably to thwart Chinese cyber threats.
According to the military portal C4ISRNET, the Joint Task Force (JTF) of the Cyber Command was specifically created in 2016 to fight the Islamic State online. However, in view of the rising cyber threats, which US agencies have linked to China, the JTF would now focus on the Indo-Pacific region.
In a written statement submitted to the US Congress in March, General Paul M. Nakasone, Commander of United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), said:

Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) said the Biden administration’s infrastructure plan is a farce.
Tuberville slammed the massive $2 trillion proposal while speaking on the Senate floor Monday.
The Republican senator said calling what the Democrats are pushing an infrastructure plan is an insult to the English language. He and other Republicans have criticized the proposal for its large price tag and for including items that are unrelated to infrastructure.
