First BMF net zero carbon Business Champions announced 6 May, 2021 SHARE BMF members ACO Technologies, APP Wholesale, Bradfords Building Supplies and Travis Perkins plc, have each committed to share tangible evidence of their net zero carbon plans.
Four BMF member companies were among the first 14 champions from across the UK’s construction supply chain to declare their commitment to support CO2nstructZero, the construction industry’s response to the climate emergency.
The initial cohort have been selected by the Construction Leadership Council having demonstrated their commitment towards the sector’s drive towards reducing carbon emissions in the delivery and operation of the built environment.
UK Construction Week London postponed to May 2022 2 February, 2021 The event will now take place between 3-5 May 2022.
Media 10, the organiser of UK Construction Week, has announced the postponement of the 2021 London event.
The event, which was due to take place 5-7 May at ExCeL London, will now move forward to 3-5 May 2022.
The situation with the pandemic has made the possibility of restrictions this spring look more certain. While the Government may still stick to an April restart date for events, it now looks that restrictions are likely to be with us until the vaccine roll out reaches its conclusion.
