December 28, 2020 DESPITE constant reminders to be safe and responsible this Christmas in order not to transmit the virus within the communities, the Department of Health-Davao Region (DOH-Davao) saw a spike in cases due to the holiday celebrations.
DOH-Davao Regional Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit Dr. Cleo Fe Tabada said in a virtual presser on Monday, December 28, they have received reports of confirmed coronavirus-positive individuals who had a history of attending group gatherings this holiday season.
She added that upon contact tracing, the other group members were, later on, found out to have been infected by the positive individuals.
