Nine Radio are seeking expressions of interest for Panel Operators, Producers and Traffic Reporters for their Brisbane office based in Cannon Hill.
Panel Operator:
As the Panel Operator you will be responsible for steering our local and networked programs on 4BC.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
• Previous experience as a panel operator in a radio station
• Audio production experience
• Understanding of legal restrictions on media
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Team player
Producer:
As the Producer you will help prepare content for programs and support the successful on-air performance of the presenter. This position is also responsible for taking a leadership role within the Business Unit.
Nine overhauls digital audio operations & seeks head of podcasts
As part of the overhaul, the company has hired Hayley Bourne as head of digital audio.
The appointment marks a return to both Nine and radio for Bourne.
In the early 2000s she was a sports sales coordinator at the Nine Network, and then moved into account management at Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) for five years. Since then, she’s worked in brand and digital roles in London, finishing up as head of brand partnerships for JOE Media late last year.
In that role, she was responsible for the distribution and commercialisation of audio content across digital and social platforms.

Nine Entertainment Co has announced that Hayley Bourne is joining Nine Radio as head of digital audio. Bourne has recently returned to Australia from the UK.
This hire follows Nine Radio’s recent focus on overhauling its analogue radio operations, moving towards a fully integrated digital system.

In her new role, Bourne will be responsible for the creation, implementation and execution of Nine’s digital audio strategy.

Bourne has 17 years media experience, across TV, radio, digital, podcasting, social and production, most recently as head of brand partnerships at Joe Media in the UK. In this role Bourne was responsible for the distribution and commercialisation of audio content across digital and social platforms.
