New Lighting Scheme Completed at Temple of Hephaestus and Philopappos Monument

The redesigned lighting for all the major Athenian monuments is now complete, with the new lighting for the temple of Hephaestus and the monument to Philopappos shown for the first time on Tuesday evening in the Greek capital.
The lighting for these treasured historical sites, designed by by Eleftheria Deko, signals the completion of the lighting redesign for the Acropolis and all the monuments associated with the greatest historical sites in the city.
The Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports announced the conclusion of the lighting redesign, which was made possible by the Onassis Foundation and completed under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
Hellenic Film Society USA Launches Monthly Greek Film Series Streaming Worldwide
The Hellenic Film Society USA (HFS) has launched Always On Sunday On Demand, an online series presenting two Greek films on the first Sunday of every month and making them available on demand worldwide, on any device, 24/7 for the entire month. Showing now through January 2, 2021 are the romantic drama EYES OF NIGHT and GUINESS, a comedy. Both films are in Greek with English subtitles.
EYES OF NIGHT, written and directed Periklis Hoursoglou is a gripping drama about three people in search of love and connection. Not widely seen in the US after its initial release, the film signals the new sophistication and world-class aspirations of modern Greek cinema. It features Vangelio Andreadaki in an award-winning portrayal of a woman betrayed by the man she loves.
