CONCORD, N.C. The community will gather at the Cabarrus County Government Center to present the Robert J. Eury Award to a deserving veteran law enforcement officer on Friday, May 7th in honor of Law Enforcement Day.
Officials say the award service will begin at 10:45 a.m. on the front steps of the building located on Church Street South in Concord.
The prestigious Robert J. Eury Award is presented to an officer with at least 20 years of experience, who officials say embodies the integrity of Lieutenant Eury, who was killed while honorably protecting the people of this county.
