Missing South Carolina girl could be in Atlanta, deputies say

ATLANTA - Deputies need your help finding a missing South Carolina teenager who may be in the metro Atlanta area.
Officials say 13-year-old Ariel Ray Underwood left her home on Goat Road in Oconee County, South Carolina sometime between 10 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday.
Investigators told FOX 5 they believe Ariel could be in Atlanta or somewhere in DeKalb County.
The missing teenager is described as being 5-feet-2-inches tall with a weight of 128 pounds. She has black hair and hazel eyes. It is not known what she was wearing before she disappeared.
The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:
GARDENER FLEES: On April 20, deputies were dispatched to a home in the Triple Creek neighborhood in Bogart, where a man cutting grass reported he stopped near a home only to be confronted by a woman dressed in a pink top, pajama bottoms and holding a gun pointed at him. “You need to get the (expletive) out of here,” the woman said, according to the man. The man said he then hopped aboard his lawn mower and fled to his truck, where he called his supervisor. The 33-year-old Comer man, who has an infant child, told the deputy he thought he was going to be shot for cutting grass. A deputy questioned the woman, who was chatting with the garbage man, but she denied pointing a gun at the mower. She said she only went outside and told the man “to git” at which point he fled. It has been a month since someone went into an Oconee County gas station, and shot and killed 23-year-old Elijah Wood. The suspect remains at-large.
OCONEE COUNTY, Ga. - It has been one month since someone gunned down a clerk inside the RaceTrac gas station on Macon Highway and investigators still do not have a suspect in the case. We really just need that break. We really do, said Oconee County Sheriff James Hale.
According to the sheriff s office, the assailant shot and killed Elijah Wood, 23, the night of March 19th. The motive is unclear.
