SPOKANE, Wash. An argument over payment for a dog led to a burglary in northeast Spokane on Sunday, police said in a release.
Officers responded to a home behind the northside Target for reports of a residential burglary. The victim said several people were trying to kick in her front door.
The victim said she had recently gotten a dog from 42-year-old Erin Hoover and they had gotten into a dispute over payment for the animal.
According to police, Hoover threatened the victim and said if she did not get all of the money by Sunday, she would come kick her down down.

BONNERS FERRY, Idaho A Boundary County man has been accused of sexually assaulting at least one child over the course of several years.
William Austin Blumenauer, 46, has been charged with four counts of lewd conduct with a minor under 16.
Blumenauer was a member of Boundary County’s Boy Scouts of America, though the organization says it is unclear at this time if any of the incidents were related to scouting.
In a statement released to 4 News Now, Boy Scouts of America said:
We were shocked and disgusted to learn of these reports. Our heart goes out to the victims and the victims’ families. While we do not yet know if these incidents are related to Scouting, upon learning of these charges, we took immediate action to remove this individual from Scouting and prohibit him from any future participation in our programs.
Two arrested for first-degree robbery an hour after police were called

SPOKANE, Wash. Deputies arrested two robbery suspects just an hour after police were called.
A deputy responded to a robbery call at an Exxon gas station Highway 395. The employee said a man, later identified as 24-year-old Kennyon Fast-Horse, approached the register and demanded money, then reached to his waistband as if pulling a gun.
After she gave him the money, she said Fast-Horse drove off in a white car with a temporary license plate.
The deputy reviewed surveillance video, noting other identifying features of the man including the logos on his shirt, a black band on his wrist, his age, and also his white Pontiac was missing a hubcap on the back right side.

OKANOGAN CO., Wash. Two inmates who escaped from the Okanogan County Jail did so by crawling into the air ducts and accessing the roof.
Sheriff Tony Hawley said 28-year-old Kristopher L. Whittman and 53-year-old Christian E. White also had help from the outside. An investigation found they were picked up and driven away after they climbed down from the roof.
The two men remain at large and anyone who sees them is asked to call police.
Whittman is described as 5’8″ tall, 170 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was in custody on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, eluding, reckless driving and malicious mischief. The Sheriff said he attempted to escape from the jail last week.
