A correctional officer at Anamosa State Penitentiary suffered a minor injury Wednesday while restraining an unruly prisoner, prison officials said. The prisoner became violent during a disciplinary hearing over video chat, according to a statement by the Iowa Department of Corrections. Though in restraints for the hearing, the inmate became unruly enough that the correctional officer supervising the hearing called for assistance from a second officer, according to the statement.
