Seton LaSalle partnered with Churchill High School at the time to rent the Broadway costumes and set from a touring company.

Cavaliere s vocals retain the summery emotion of his Young Rascals days, combining soulful phrasing with a horn-like edginess to his high notes, and Cropper s guitar - both as a lead and rhythm instrument - retains every bit of its defining Memphis identity. In addition to his voice, Cavaliere s organ gives a few tracks the old Rascals feeling, and the rhythm section of Shake Anderson and Chester Thompson is solid and surprisingly lyrical throughout.

THERE are some exciting projects on the way to the Young Scientist contest from Gaelcholaiste Luimni in Sir Harry’s Mall.
Two of its students have placed a focus on medical projects, one group is looking at the intake of iron in both a vegetarian and an omnivore diet, and there is also a look at the thorny issue of gender representation in politics.
For Sarah Moloney, 17, it was her grandmother’s experiences when taking her medication which inspired her to design a pill dispenser.
Unlike other products like hers on the market, the high-tech device has a special functionality, which will place a stop on any patient taking the wrong medical combination.
THE documents declassified by the National Archives today reveal, unsurprisingly, that the Echo’s legendary former editor, Sir Harold Evans, who died this year, was at the heart of affairs as the Russians tried to launch a “decomposition campaign” against Harold Wilson’s Labour government in the late 1960s. It looks as if Sir Harry, a journalist of great judgement, at the Sunday Times had nothing to do with Russia’s attempts to publicise the memoirs of double agent Kim Philby. Instead, the Russians look to have placed some of traitor Philby’s comments with the Daily Express – a paper that was more rabidly anti-Labour than it was pro-Britain.
