Queenstown s Wayfare seeks new investment

Tourism operator in talks with potential new shareholders. Queenstown-based tourism operator Wayfare Group is looking to raise capital from a new cornerstone shareholder as it rebuilds from the ravages of Covid-19. Wayfare owns Wanaka skifields Cardrona Alpine Resort and Treble Cone, cruise and tour business Real Journeys, adventure tourism business Go Orange and the International Antarctic Centre in Christchurch. Wayfare chair Jim Boult confirmed the company was “exploring opportunities for new capital”. “We’re not in a hurry,” he said. “We will know the right shareholder when we find them. Time’s on our side.” Wayfare is owned by the Hutchins family, descendants of founders Sir Les and Olive Hutchins.

Learning about R Industries

Learning about R Industries I live in Bournemouth and have been working in recruitment for over 10 years now. I always had an interest in marketing so early on in my career married them together and became a specialist Digital Marketing Recruiter working with a variety of brands. Two years ago, I decided to take the plunge and set up my own recruitment agency, Acquire Digital Talent. I continue to recruit Digital & Growth Marketing professionals but nowadays focus on recruiting them for high growth, tech-driven startup and scaleups across London and Europe. I love helping people take the next step in their careers and watching them grow and develop from afar.
