Five people die of Covid-19 in Qatar; 250 travellers test positive on April 13

 13 Apr 2021 - 15:44 The Peninsula Online Doha: Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today reported 981 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) and 593 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 170,787. Out of 981 new cases, 731 are community cases and 250 from travellers returning from abroad. The ministry also announced five deaths of people 38, 51, 69, 75 and 95 years, taking the total death toll as of today to 340. Three of them had chronic diseases and all of them received necessary medical care, MoPH said. 36 were admitted to intensive care in the last 24 hours, and so 479 people continue to receive medical attention in ICU.
