An 88-year-old man is dead after he was hit by a vehicle while riding his motorized scooter in Kindersley on Wednesday.
According to an RCMP news release, Kindersley RCMP were dispatched to the scene around 9:05 a.m.

Police have said a vehicle was turning north onto Main Street from Fifth Avenue West when it struck a man using a motorized scooter. He was transported to hospital, where he was later declared dead. His family has been notified.

Gotta admit, the colorful drawings are pretty cool. Depicting attractive and tranquil boulevards and curving peaceful roads, lined with interesting shops and lush trees, all connecting downtown to the lakefront like Duluthians have never experienced before and in place of an ugly, foreboding, impenetrable highway are as intriguing as that last fancily wrapped gift on Christmas morning.
