Photo by: Shutterstock Suffolk County Police have arrested an East Patchogue man for taking videos of his landlord’s family by placing a camera in a bathroom of their home without permission. The owner of a home on Case Avenue reported to police on May 6 that she had located a miniature video camera in the bathroom of her home. Following an investigation by Fifth Squad detectives, Cristian Marca, a tenant in the house, was arrested for placing the camera and was found to be in possession of video and private images of the residents of the house. In addition to Marca, there were two adults and four children living in the residence at the time.

NEW YORK - A gunman shot three workers at a Stop & Shop supermarket in West Hempstead, Long Island, on Tuesday, killing one of them.
Authorities say the suspect, Gabriel Dewitt Wilson, 31, who works at the store, was arrested after a manhunt.
Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder says the shooting happened inside a manager s office at about 11 a.m. upstairs from the shopping floor.

Photo by: NCPD UPDATE Nassau County Executive Laura Curran has confirmed that the suspect in this shooting incident, Gabriel Dewitt Wilson, is now in police custody. The Nassau County Police Department is investigating an incident that occurred on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 11:19 a.m. in West Hempstead. According to Police, there has been an active shooter incident at the West Hempstead Stop and Shop, located at 50 Cherry Valley Avenue. Three people have been shot. A male victim, 49, has been pronounced deceased at the scene by a Police Medic. The other two gun-shot victims have been transported to an area hospital. The Nassau County Police Department is canvassing the area and nearby schools have been notified to lock out and secure their buildings.
