Legislative tax plan could slice revenue and federal fiscal aid
BOISE, Idaho (KIFI)-A legislative tax proposal could result in deep cuts in state revenue and risk federal fiscal aid to the state, according to an alaysis of House Bill 332 by the Idaho Center for Fiscal Policy.
The bill would reduce the income and corporate tax rates. It would also provide a one-time tax rebate. The analysis indicates the package would cost the state between $386 million and $389.4 million in its first year. It would cost $160 million to $169.4 million in following years based on the bill s fiscal note by the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy.
How did that happen? I was just having a very serious conversation with my wife about stopping with baby number two, Leo. It was a very spirited conversation that ending in the ever so popular, let s just talk about it later.
Surprise! We didn t really set a date for the future conversation because here we are with a verdict. Baby number three is coming this Summer and it s going to be a boy. We re having another boy.
It s interesting how you think having a boy and girl was the end. Everyone was always telling me how lucky I was not to have to keep trying to even out the teams. I m writing this now so I can introduce myself considering I m on a new radio station and welcoming a new family member. I m a very open book and you re finding out hours after we did. It s a boy. We re done. Seriously.

This Hidden Gem In Nampa Is Home To The Best Happy Hour
I live for a good happy hour. Eating and drinking without breaking the budget is exactly what everyone needs these days. The only issue I ever take with happy hour is that I personally can t get myself to the restaurant or bar in the allotted time. I have punctuality issues. But there s a gem of a place in Nampa that offers happy hour all day Sunday! And that s just one reason to head over to
JaKs Place, right across from the Idaho Center.
The menu is extensive and mouth watering. Their burgers are a Wagyu blend of locally sourced brisket, short rib, and chuck. Paired with house made sauces and fresh ingredients, burger lovers will fall in love. Snackers can fill up on a variety of always freshly prepared appetizers. The Fried Green Olives are a must have! And that s just the tip of the iceberg (lettuce.I m sorry I made that joke).
