It’s time for another installment of overlooked performances from the 2021 NWHL season.
This time around we are turning our attention to the Connecticut Whale, who were knocked out of the playoffs by the Minnesota Whitecaps. Even though they played just five games it was obvious that the Whale made major strides this year. Once a team routinely dominated in the shot share, Connecticut had some of the best puck possession numbers in the league, which was made possible by a deep and balanced group of skaters. Related
