COVID-19 Scare: NCDC allegedly sends Saudi returnees to isolation centre over fake vaccine certificate

There was fear at the Aminu Kano International Airport as the NCDC allegedly detained some air travellers for entering the country with fake COVID-19 vaccination certificates.
Sources said the passengers arrived the Kano International Airport from Saudi Arabia at about 8:00pm on Sunday aboard Air Badr, a Sudanese airline.
Apprehension, however, began when NCDC officials while conducting checks on the passengers travelling documents discovered that nearly all COVID-19 vaccination certificates presented were fake.
Isa Ali told our reporter that the authorities amid safety concerns banned passengers from disembarking from the airbus.
