The New Zealand Warriors have announced theyâll return home for the first time since 2019 for a Round 22 clash against Canterbury.
Having been based in Australia since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the game at Mt Smart Stadium will be the first time the Warriors will play in New Zealand after two years away.
With club legend Roger Tuivasa-Sheck set to make a move to rugby union in 2022, the match will also act as a farewell for the superstar fullback.
Club CEO Cameron George said he wants to see their home ground âpacked to the raftersâ for the much-anticipated return.
