A blustery cold front is hitting Victoria around East Gippsland, with heavy rain and flash flooding expected. Forecast for accumulated rain today, according to the ECMWF-HRES model(Weatherzone) A severe weather warning is also in place for south-east NSW. Heavy rain is forecast to hit Bega, Merimbula, Eden and Bombala. In Queensland, thunderstorms producing damaging winds, hail and heavy rain are expected to strike south of Ayr.
